Why are there so many people in my contacts? What’s the difference between contacts and directory?

Your contacts are all the contacts that are saved to your linked account. For example, if you’'ve linked your Outlook account, every contact you’ ve ever saved to your Outlook account will appear in your contacts list.

The directory is the list of all the people in your organization on Minnow Talk and their extension. Depending on your set preferences, you will see all members of your directory or only those who are currently online.

To change whether you see all directory members regardless of status, click Contacts on the toolbar at the top of your Minnow Talk desktop application. Go down to “ Show only Online users&rdquo, and click to check or uncheck this option.
